Tracing Your Tribe: Genealogy for Beginners Tuesdays (March 8, 15, 22) 2 – 4 pm Corporate College East 4400 Richmond Rd Warrensville Heights $15/person • RSVP by March 3 Delve into your family’s history. This 3-part workshop will introduce participants to the steps involved in doing genealogy research. Topics include: collecting family documents, interviewing family members, using genealogical tools such as ancestral charts and family group sheets, and using genealogical websites and databases. IMPACT! Done in a Day Volunteer Opportunity with Greater Cleveland Food Bank Wednesday, March 23 2 – 4 pm Greater Cleveland Food Bank, 15500 S. Waterloo Road Cleveland RSVP by March 16 Join IMPACT! volunteers as they organize and pack up nonperishable food distributed to local food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters and/or prepare hot meals in the “Community Kitchen” that are distributed at local agencies for children atrisk for hunger. 3rd Annual Women Leaning In Event Raise your voice and be heard at the Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s 3rd Annual Women Leaning In event. Join women from our community and together tackle hard-hitting gender issues, and discuss important topics like work-life balance, empowerment, philanthropy and more. The event takes place Wednesday, March 9, from 6:30 – 9:30 pm, at the Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Building (25701 Science Park Drive, Beachwood). Beit Shean–Valley of Springs–Cleveland 20 Year Partnership Anniversary Celebration For 20 years, the Jewish Federation of Cleveland has been working in partnership with its sister city, Beit Shean, and Valley of Springs. Together, the lives of thousands have been enriched. Join the Federation in celebrating its collective impact, Wednesday, March 30, at 7 pm, at the Mandel Jewish Community Center.
