Now Available: Three Ways for Jewish Cleveland Young Adults to Travel to Israel this Summer In just one year, the Jewish Federation of Cleveland helps send approximately 45,000 young adults from across the country and around the world to Israel, deepening their personal connection to the Jewish homeland. Right now, the Federation is offering three Israel travel opportunities for Jewish young adults. Applications are now being accepted. Jewish Cleveland young adults, ages 22-26, can travel on the Cleveland Community Birthright Israel Trip, June 20 – June 30. Applications are now being accepted for this free 10-day trip to explore Israel’s most remarkable tourist destinations and beyond. Participants will hike the rugged sites of Masada, stroll Ben Yehuda Street, discover Jewish mysticism in Tzfat, and more. For many participants, Birthright Israel is their first Israel experience. If you have already traveled to Israel on Birthright Israel or on another short-term experience, then apply for Onward Israel, an eight-week summer internship program, June 8 – August 3. College juniors, seniors, and recent college graduates will live and learn like locals in the heart of Tel Aviv, and intern in the fields of high-tech, the arts, business, and more. And, for Jewish Clevelanders ages 22-40, join the Federation’s Young Leadership Division on the Weinberg Mission to Israel, July 10 – July 17. This one-of-a-kind travel opportunity offers Jewish Clevelanders an opportunity to experience Israel’s vibrant arts and culture scene, learn about innovative technology, network with leaders in the nation’s up and coming fields, taste the flavors of the country, and find their own connection to Israel. Your personal Israel experience is waiting! For more information, please visit www. jewishcleveland.org.
