Homework Mentor Program
C
uyahoga County Public Library strives to partner
with parents and schools to ensure student
success. As part of its organizational commitment
to reading, lifelong learning and civic engagement, the
library branch off ers students free access to an after-
school homework mentor who will assist students in
kindergarten through eighth grade with homework
assignments during the 2016-2017 school year.
The library recognizes that
homework is an important
extension of the school day
and students may struggle with
their assignments if they do not
fully comprehend the lessons
taught in the classroom. The
homework mentor will bridge
the gap between school and
home to provide the guidance
that students may need to
better understand and complete
homework assignments.
A homework mentor will be at
the Beachwood Library, Monday
through Thursday from 3-5 pm,
now through May 11, during
days that Beachwood classes are
in session.
