Beachwood Democratic Ward Club
I
t pains me to mention this, but summer is just about behind us. Labor Day typically signals the true start of campaign season, and this year is no different. Members of the Beachwood Democratic Ward Club are tuned in to the candidates and issues year round, but most people really start paying attention as the leaves start to change. This year there is a full slate of candidates on the ballot. Ohio Democrats have a great ticket with Ed FitzGerald for Governor, Nina Turner for Secretary of State, John Carney for Auditor, Connie Pillich for Treasurer, and David Pepper for Attorney General. Also in the running are Kenny Yuko for State Senate and Kent Smith for State Representative. Beachwood’s own Armond Budish is running for County Executive, and Sunny Simon is on the ballot to serve us for another term as our County Council Representative. You can get an absentee ballot by requesting one from the Board of Elections, or by contacting me for help. The Ward Club will hold its next meeting Tuesday, October 14 at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers. Meetings are open to all democrats. As always, I’m Beachwood Ward Club President Steve Rosen, and I approve this message. For more information, call 216.292.5562 or email BeachwoodDemocrat@gmail.com.
