COMPLETE LAWN & YARD SERVICE Lawn Maintenance • Mulching Lawn Installation and More When You Travel You Are Never Lost A photographic journey through Asia Have it done right the first time. Call us today for a free estimate. S cott Sill, in association with University Hospitals Case Medical Center, announces a new exhibition of his photographs. The exhibit will be at the University Hospitals Case Medical Center, Humphrey Gallery, 11100 Euclid Ave, September 9 through October 26, with an opening reception on Monday, September 15, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. When you travel you are never lost, Sill’s first photo exhibition, captures his journey through South East Asia. Sill decided during a mid-life crossroads that he wanted a change in his life and began a journey to New Zealand and Australia that eventually led him to Southeast Asia. He has now been traveling extensively for the better half of the year for the past four winters. Sill, a native Clevelander, grew up in Shaker Heights, attended the University Wisconsin and has lived his adult life in Los Angeles, where he has participated in the film industry. He then moved to Miami, where he worked as a fashion photographer, producing images that appeared in Vogue, Ocean Drive Magazine and Seventeen. He now lives right here in Beachwood. Sill says his work is most influenced by French realism painting of the 19th century. His other influences are classic photography and fashion photography, the latter of which he has practiced. He is more inclined to employ color photography, using bright hues and color contrast, but he also enjoys black and white for its romanticism and timeless appeal.
