Jewish Family Service Association and
the Planned Lifetime Assistance Net-
work (PLAN) are pleased to announce
that the 2016 Client Art Exhibit "Beyond
the Cherry Blossom" will go on tour this
spring and summer. The traveling exhibit
is a culmination of a nine month study in
which JFSA and PLAN clients participated
in weekly art therapy sessions focusing
on the history, art, drama, architecture,
music, and fashion of Asian culture. The
annual project provides adults with
mental illness a creative outlet to aid in
their mental health recovery while also
increasing awareness and understanding
of mental health recovery in the general
community.
