Free Family Summer Fun at Legacy Village
T
his summer at Legacy Village, children will be able to get behind the wheel of a firetruck, learn about
exotic animals, dance their hearts out to live music, win cool prizes and much more. From weekly
Little Legacy educational series, to Kids Village and a new Meet the Machines event, Legacy Village's
free summer programming for children is sure to be a hit for parents and youngsters alike.
Little Legacy
Turn Wednesdays into fun days for the little ones at Little Legacy,
June 1 through August 31. Little Legacy offers educational, cultural and
wellness-based events all summer long, with entertaining programming
for children, pre-K and younger, and their parents. Sessions will be led by
Barre3, Goldfish Swim School, L.L. Bean, Jungle Terry and more. Held at
the Lawn each Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 am, Little Legacy is free
and open to the public.
Kids Village
Legacy Village will be transformed into Kids Village on Sunday, July 10,
from noon until 5 pm for an afternoon of kid-friendly activities, entertain-
ment, demonstrations, and more. The 10th annual Kids Village will be pre-
sented by UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital and Hawken School.
Activities for the free public event are scheduled to include interactive
booths and displays, safety information, live entertainment, demonstra-
tions on the stage, cool prizes and much more.
Meet the Machines
On August 13, Legacy Village will host Meet the Machines, a new
event that offers a unique opportunity for youngsters and families to
touch and explore construction, emergency and service vehicles, and
more machines of all makes and sizes. This hands-on experience will fea-
ture games, live music, safety information and more! Meet the Machines
is a free public event made possible with the support from The City of
Lyndhurst.

Free Weekend Concert Series
ursday evening concerts an added mid-summer bonus
Legacy Live, the Legacy Village free concert series, returns with the
music of summer beginning Friday, May 27 and continuing with free
concerts every Friday and Saturday through September 3. From pop
and Motown to rock and jazz, concert-goers will enjoy some of their
favorite music beginning at 6:30 pm and ending at 9:30 pm.
"There's an amazing ambiance and sense of community that attracts
Legacy Live concert-goers to what has become one of Northeast Ohio's
most popular free concert series," said Legacy Village General Manager
Susan Windle. "The Legacy Village Lawn comes alive with families,
friends and couples who often make dining at one of the center's
restaurants part of their Legacy Live tradition."
The new Legacy Live Thursday evening concerts will begin June 23
and run through August 11 from 6 to 8 pm. All concerts take place at
The Lawn, located between California Pizza Kitchen and Bar Louie and
are subject to cancellation in cases of inclement weather. Listed are

Food Trucks Roll into Legacy Village This Summer
Extend your weekend fun one more day at Food Truck Mondays
"Food Truck Mondays" are now back at Legacy Village from
11:30 am to 1:30 pm featuring an array of food trucks that will
help satisfy virtually any craving. Local bands will amp up the
lunch hour, for an atmosphere sure to chase away the Monday
blues. The food trucks will return twice a month through August.
"Food Truck Mondays is one of the largest food truck gatherings
in Northeast Ohio and is an ideal way to kick off the week," said
Legacy Village general manager Susan Windle. "It's a great way to
enjoy some great food, cool music and warm weather during the
work week."
Upcoming dates are June 6, June 20 and July 11. Events take
