Geauga Savings Bank Expands Beachwhood Team
Geauga Savings Bank an-
nounces that Dell R. Duncan,
executive vice president, has
joined the bank in a senior man-
agement position. Duncan will
assist in developing competitive
loan and deposit services as well
as lead the establishment of a
corporate office and a lending
office in Beachwood.
Geauga will be looking to
actively grow commercial rela-
tionships in the Northeast Ohio
market and expand the avail-
ability of community banking
services.
Duncan has a 40-year banking
history with experience in a
number of Northeast Ohio
financial institutions. He began
at Midwest Bank/Provident Bank
as vice president of operations;
and later founded two com-
munity banks in Beachwood
 Commerce Exchange Bank in
1986 and Ohio Commerce Bank
in 2006, where he was president,
ECO and a member of the board
of directors.
Duncan is a founding director,
former president and a member
of the executive committee of
the Beachwood Chamber of
Commerce. He is a past chair-
man of the Cleveland Pops
Orchestra, and former chairman
and treasurer of the Beachwood
Convention and Visitors Bureau.
"With the growing strength of
Geauga and my knowledge of
the local market, I am eager to
bring community banking back
to Beachwood. This area has
been my home for more than 30
years and the market deserves a
community bank with vision, ex-
ecution and commitment to the
local businesses," said Duncan.
Heathyr Ullmo has also joined
the bank as a senior commercial
banking officer. Ullmo will be
located out of the new GSB lend-
ing office in Beachwood. She will
be responsible for generating
and managing client relation-
ships and treasury management
services.
As Geauga is looking to active-
ly grow commercial relationships
in the Northeast Ohio market,
Ullmo's treasury management
expertise will be a great benefit
for the bank. "We are very excited
to have Heathyr in Beachwood,"
said Jim Kleinfelter, president and
CEO of Geauga Savings Bank.
"We are constantly looking to
enhance our business custom-
er experience and expand our
service offerings. By adding
knowledgeable experts who
are uniquely client focused, we
deliver on our promise to bring
local community banking to the
area. Heathyr will be a huge asset
to local business owners."
Ullmo has a broad 15-year
banking background with prov-
en excellence
in commer-
cial account
manage-
ment. Prior
to joining
Geauga
Savings Bank,
she served
as a business
development
officer and
treasury management sales
officer at Peoples Bank, formerly
Ohio Commerce Bank. As a se-
nior commercial banking officer,
Ullmo will provide vision and
solid financial advice for local
businesses.
Ullmo recently completed
a successful two-year term as
president of the Beachwood
Chamber of Commerce and will
continue to have an active role
on the Chamber of Commerce
Board of Directors.
