Twenty-six BHS musicians earned superior or excellent scores at the Ohio Music Education Association's Solo and Ensemble Contest in January. In total, 41 BHS students competed, earning 19 I ratings (superior) and seven II ratings (excellent) in 28 combined instrumental and vocal events. Fifty-four BMS students earned superior or excellent scores at the Greater Cleveland Solo and Ensemble Contest in March. In total, 54 BMS students competed, earning 27 I ratings (superior) and four II ratings (excellent) in 31 combined band and orchestra events. Complete results are available at beachwoodschools.org. Join Us for Lunch at the BHS Bistro Bryden Principal for the Day The Beachwood Bistro welcomes you to join us in April for a culinary experience created by our future restaurant and hospitality professionals. Each dish is prepared by our first-year chefs under the supervision of our experienced instructional staff. This month, The Bistro is open April 8th, 10th, 15th, 16th, and 17th. Restaurant hours are 11 am - 12:30 pm. 34 Beachwood Buzz n April 2015 Meet Bryden principal-for-the-day, 2nd grader Noah Isaacson. He ran a successful fire drill, supervised recess and lunch, and dropped in on a few classes. Noah’s parents won him this honor at the Friends of the Beachwood Orchestras’ fundraiser in November.
