JFSA to Honor 2015 Anne C. Schwartz Leadership Award Recipient, Dr. David Rosenberg
Jewish Family Service Association will honor 2015 Anne C. Schwartz Leadership Award Recipient, Dr. David Rosenberg, at Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple on Wednesday, October 14. In his first year of serving on the JFSA Board of Directors, Dr. Rosenberg distinguished himself with his tireless energy and commitment to those we serve. He spearheaded efforts to establish a primary healthcare clinic located within JFSA walls, representing a bold step toward delivering integrated healthcare to our community’s most vulnerable populations. JFSA is firmly committed to the concept of integrated healthcare and believes that this new model will be the cornerstone of our future healthcare system. JFSA’s new clinic, Alyson’s Place, opened its doors in December 2013. The event will also feature keynote speaker Dr. Jeffrey Brenner. Dr. Brenner is executive director of the Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers and has developed a system that tackles two of healthcare’s most intrinsic problems: cost and quality of care. Celebrated in a New Yorker article, by Dr. Atul Gawande and in an accompanying FRONTLINE documentary, this pioneering practitioner is reinventing the nation’s fragmented and inefficient way of caring for the sick. VIP tickets may be purchased for $150. General admission tickets are $60. For questions or to purchase tickets, call Jamie Brown at 216.504.6451 or visit www. jfsa-cleveland.org. All proceeds benefit JFSA. Kosher dietary laws observed.
