Beachwood One
Hundred Support
the Individuals
Who Protect Our
Community
Beachwood One Hundred is a group of caring citizens whose
annual tax-deductible dues are used solely to create a contingency
fund to aid the police and fire safety forces of the City of Beachwood
in time of personal emergencies. The not-for-profit organization is
run 100% by volunteer citizens.
Beachwood One Hundred recognizes and appreciates the dedica-
tion of our safety forces that serve to protect the citizens of Beach-
wood 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. When unforeseen personal
emergencies occur, Beachwood One Hundred is ready to assist the
city's safety forces and their families with loans or donations. In addi-
tion, it has purchased safety and fitness equipment for the forces and
annually provides academic scholarships to children of our police
and fire department personnel.
Congratulations go to last year's scholarship recipients Hailey
Wetzel, daughter of police officer Thomas Wetzel; Marisa Palumbo,
daughter of fire fighter Michael Palumbo; and Tyler Brininger, son of
police officer Robert Brininger.
Beachwood One Hundred vice president Alan Berger
told us the organization has been around since 1969
and is in need of board members and trustees to carry
on this Beachwood tradition.
Beachwood One Hundred vice president Alan Berger told us the
organization has been around since 1969 and is in need of board
members and trustees to carry on this Beachwood tradition. The time
commitment is minimal, with about two meetings a year, one for
membership and the other for scholarships. Additional meetings are
scheduled to provide assistance.
Please join or renew your membership now. Individual member-
ships are only $40, and corporate memberships are $100. Dues are
tax deductible. As a member, you will receive two 2016 vehicle de-
cals. For complete information and to join, visit www.beachwood100.
