From the youngest participant, just a few months old in a stroller, to the oldest participant, Mr. Mort Weiss, 101 years young, all had a great time and helped a great cause at this year's event. Honorees Jessica Garrod and Lisa Vinocur, along with Jody Zawadsky of Beachwood, were heartened at the overwhelming support provided by the many friends who spent Mother's Day morning walking or running on their behalf. Event chair Patti Berns and University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center are grateful for the community's support and look forward to a sun-filled, heartwarming event in 2016. Thank you all. The Race is a non-profit organization based in Northeast Ohio that coordinates an annual one-mile walk/run to raise funds toward the fight against breast cancer.
